Regenerative Agriculture/Forestry

AFMNT(24of29).jpg

AFM has set a new benchmark for the industry by proving that regenerative approaches, including the use of livestock for weed control, promoting soil biology and reducing chemical use is the new best practice for sandalwood cultivation.

We have reduced our herbicide (glyphosate) use by 90% by introducing livestock. We now view weeds as feed. Not only is this a more productive use of the landscape but we are facilitating natural nutrient cycling processes which leads to healthier trees.
