All our plantations are drip irrigated which allows us to apply precise amounts of water tailored to the growing season, tree size and soil attributes.
We have successfully demonstrated through trials that we can reduce our water use while maintain growth rates and this has resulted in water savings of over 40%.
Water efficiency has also reduced our energy use as pumping water accounts for the majority of our diesel and electricity consumption.
