Biodiversity

Blue-winged Kookaburra at Sunset.png

AFM staff have been conducting voluntary bird surveys on our properties for a number of years. Over 150 species have been recorded which demonstrates that our mixed species sandalwood plantations are providing habitat for both local and migratory species.

Management of feral animals (pigs, cats and buffalo) and noxious weeds (particularly Gamba Grass) are also part of our day-to-day activities
